Picky Pets
For the dog or cat that turns its nose up.
Picky eating is often a sign that the food itself isn't engaging the senses. Timberwolf is built around aroma, meat-first density, and functional herbs that pets actually notice.

Aroma First
Real meat and fresh herbs create a smell most flavor-sprayed kibble can't replicate.
Meat-Forward
Animal protein leads every ingredient panel — pets recognize the difference at first bowl.
Eight Functional Herbs
Basil, parsley, thyme, turmeric, fenugreek, fennel, cumin, and mint add a sensory layer.
Novel protein, fresh bowl.
Black Forest Legends (venison and salmon) is the recipe most picky-eater customers reach for first. Venison is one of the most novel proteins on the market — dogs who have rotated through chicken, beef, and lamb often hit a new flavor here.
Pair with our transition guide. Many picky eaters engage within the first 2–3 bowls.
Small adjustments, big difference.
- Warm the kibble slightly to release aroma
- Add a tablespoon of warm water (not hot)
- Top with a small amount of canned pumpkin or wet food
- Feed at consistent times — twice a day
- Remove the bowl after 15 minutes if not eaten (resets feeding behavior)
What people who feed Timberwolf say.
"My German Shepherd refused three other premium brands. Black Forest got him eating like he hadn't eaten in days."
— A Timberwolf customer
"The aroma when you open Timberwolf is honestly the difference. You don't have to convince the dog — they convince themselves."
— A working-dog handler
